West Kirk Presbyterian Church, Shankill Road

In order to comply with disability discrimination act legislation, the church session required a ramp, as well as new steps, at the main entrance from the Shankill Road.

Due to the fact that dimensions were extremely tight, we succeeded in the challenge to design a ramp and steps which complied with all necessary aspects of the building regulations.

Aesthetically, it was important to match the new stone with the existing stone, which dates back to the early twentieth century.

This was also achieved successfully.
